About Just Kids

Just Kids is a non-profit, state licensed, United Way partner agency. We have been providing affordable, accessible, high-quality early care and education services to children and families from the Quad Cities and surrounding communities since 1976. We are proud of our extensive experience in the field of early childhood education and our history of providing essential services to area families for the past 35 years.

Our Philosophy:

 Just Kids takes pride in providing quality care and creating the right atmosphere to guide children to learn as they play.  We offer challenging activities and exciting opportunities designed to meet children's developmental needs.  We offer a comprehensive early education program to promote good physical and mental health and prepare each child for formalized school experiences. 

 

Our Goals:

We believe early childhood experiences shape a young child's future and should:

• Center around developmentally-appropriate principals and practices
  
• Build a foundation for a lifelong enthusiasm and appreciation for learning
  
• Be respectful of the needs, rights, abilities and interests of each individual child and their family culture
  
• Develop an appreciation for human similarities and differences, human interdependence, rights and responsibilities
