Just Kids is run by a dedicated staff and Board of Directors that is committed to quality. It is our vision to create a partnership with families and the community to ensure that our children grow up and develop to their full potential.
Vera Hinrichsen, Executive Director
Vera has been the Executive Director of Just Kids since it opened in 1976. Under her leadership, Just Kids has grown from a small program serving 19 children to the multi-site program it is today which serves over 250 families annually. Through the years, Vera has generously shared her expertise with others, helping countless early childhood professionals develop and refine their business practices. Because of the success Just Kids has had with its on-site program at XPAC Corporation, Vera is helping many employers develop family-friendly work environments and address the needs of employees with children. Teaching Staff
Just Kids provides a well-trained, experienced and loving teaching staff for the children and families we serve. We are proud to have some of the best early childhood educators in our region. However, the experience we possess is not a hindrance from encouraging our staff to constantly pursue current research, training and continuing education. Annual training is required for all teachers and administrators, and many of our teachers are enrolled in certificate, credential and degree programs to further their knowledge in the early education field.
