6 Weeks - 2 Years

Just Kids provides exceptional early education experiences for children 6 weeks to 2 years old. Children experience age-appropriate activities that address physical, emotional, cognitive and social development. Teachers lead children in language development, movement and sensory activities, discovery play, project work, small and large group time and indoor and outdoor exploration. 

Our two-year-old classroom at Just Kids South participates in the Prevention Initiative (PI) program through the Rock Island County Regional Office of Education and the Illinois State Board of Education.  The aim of the program is to create a partnership between teachers, service providers, parents and children from birth to age three.  Resources such as development plans, family activities, home visits and developmentally appropriate curriculum tools are provided by program teachers and parent educators to support families and children.  By focusing on the child and his/her family, the PI program helps parents be their child's first teacher, while encouraging a lifelong love of learning.

 *Please note the different hours for the infant and toddler rooms. These rooms are open M-F from 6:45am-5:00pm.
