Creative Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum is built on the philosophy that children learn by doing. The goal of the curriculum is to help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment. The curriculum also helps the teacher take a closer look at each child’s unique abilities, interests and needs. The Creative Curriculum identifies goals in all areas of development: Social/Emotional, Cognitive, Physical and Language. The planned activities for the children, the organization of the learning environment, the selection of materials, the planning of the daily schedule and the interaction of the children in the classroom are all designed to accomplish the goals and objectives of the curriculum. The Creative Curriculum works to ensure that each child has successful years in school.
