Just Kids II School-Age Program

Kindergartners - 12 Year Olds 

Just Kids II offers services to parents with school-age children in the Rock Island/Milan school district by providing care before and after school and on school days out. Transportation to and from Ridgewood and Jefferson Elementary and Just Kids II is contracted through Johannes Bus Service. Children enrolled at Just Kids II receive breakfast before school and a snack after school. Students have opportunities (before and after school) to work on projects of individual interest, participate in clubs, read for pleasure, reflect in individual journals, play in learning areas, or participate in group or individualized activities. In the summer and on school days out, children at Just Kids II participate in activities indoors and outdoors. These activities include taking field trips, participating in educational outreach programs (emphasizing topics such as nutrition, physical fitness, and geography) and visiting the nearby playground. Children are also provided breakfast, lunch, and a snack during days out. 

*Please note: Just Kids II is located in the lower level of First Presbyterian Church, Milan. The church is just a block north of the Just Kids main building.
