Accomplishments
Just Kids is proud to have accomplished so much in our 30+ year history! Our programs have been recognized at the state and national level; these accomplishments include:
DCFS Licensed Organization
A representative from the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services inspects our facility to make sure we maintain licensing standards. Our program is monitored for staffing, group size, enrollment, guidance and discipline, health, nutrition and physical environments by State inspectors. Licenses are posted at each Just Kids site.
Quality Rating Scale – Star Level 3
The Quality Rating System (QRS) is a voluntary system that offers progressive levels which providers can achieve depending on the type of care they provide. Specific quality criteria must be met to achieve a level and Just Kids is proud to have achieved a QRS Star Level of 3 in 2008! Because of this accomplishment, Just Kids has been recognized by the State of Illinois for committing to provide high quality care.
ROE Partnerships
Just Kids partners with the Rock Island County Regional Office of Education and the Early Childhood Coalition of the Illinois Quad Cities to provide enhanced programming for children 2-5 based on the Illinois Early Learning Standards.
